Type A - Non-industrial Explosives Storage

Type A magazines are intended for the storage of non-industrial explosives such as special use explosives (Type S), cartridges (Type C), propellant powder (Type P) unless used in mining or quarrying, construction, or preventative avalanche triggering, rocket motors (Type R), and pyrotechnic items (Type F).

Type A magazines should only be used indoors and must also be anchored and immobilized.

Capacity: 225 lbs of explosives or 7500 detonators (must not exceed 90% of the interior volume)
