Doors and Locking Systems

As a manufacturer and installer certified by various federal and provincial authorities, Protexplo manufactures the most high-performing powder magazine doors on the market while adhering to related standards. The locking system is equipped with Abloy cylinders with "factory restricted keying," making key copying impossible for a regular locksmith. We offer installation, repair, and maintenance of doors and locksmith services across Canada.

Installation

Type 1 magazines are permanent depots manufactured according to the building code. Although we do not manufacture Type 1 magazines, we can provide and install the door that only an authorized manufacturer can construct.

Replacement
Magazine doors manufactured before the issuance of standards for industrial explosive depots (2001) are no longer compliant. We can "simply" remedy the situation by replacing the door. Here is the link to the door replacement request form.
