Magazine lock upgrades

Canadian authorities implemented a new standard for explosive protection in 2015. In order to comply with this, all companies or organizations storing explosives must replace the locks on their powder magazines by July 31, 2026. Failure to do so may result in the suspension of their permit and the interruption of their operations. See NRCan notice.

Full compliance

We offer you a lock that fully complies with the regulations, featuring Abloy keying classified as 'factory restricted.' To install them, we provide you with qualified technicians who will also perform preventive maintenance on your magazine locking mechanism.

Important Note: It is not necessary to empty and decontaminate your magazine.
